Through his fund Chicago Ventures, he's an early investor in at least four of the Chicago unicorns (Cameo, G2, M1, Project44). Back in 2000, he Co-Founded Google's office in Chicago. He spent ten years at Google. He then became a Venture Partner at Pritzker Group, where he and J.B Pritzker collaborated on many Chicago tech initiatives. He was also the founding CEO of 1871.
