We caught up with Ellie Bahrmasel, Co-Founder and CEO of Further Faster Ventures and Workbox – Fulton Market Member, to learn more about her company’s mission, how Further Faster Ventures is utilizing their private workspace at Workbox, and their plans for 2025.
Tell us a little about your company!
Further Faster Ventures, works with companies across various verticals and business models to answer big, hairy questions. From those who are trying to establish product market fit to those uncovering new opportunities for growth. We use our unique, battle tested methodologies that merge business intelligence with user insight to generate validated strategies and designs.
What is your company’s mission, and what problem are you working to solve?
We live to help companies build products and solutions that solve actual real-world problems. We’ve seen too many companies spend too much time building things that no one wants or needs.
We’re on a mission to help teams accelerate their rate of iteration to get to the right answer, quicker, so they can solve real problems for their consumer, in service of generating revenue and growth.
What do you love most about what you do?
No two days are alike, and neither are any two clients. We get to learn about new problems and solutions every single day. Our job is a job for only the most curious and we get to lean into that each time we talk with a team we’re serving, or their consumers we trying to understand.
Do you have any recent company news, awards, or milestones you are proud of?
We’ve recently grown our team as we’ve grown our footprint here at Workbox. The physical space engenders a sense of possibility that’s fueled our expansion.
And we’re riding off the high of the past few years, which has included:
- Winning a first-place national recognition from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for our user journey map outlining the experience of a patient navigating recovery substance use disorder.
- Helping over 80 early-stage companies with hands on fractional C-Suite leadership in product, design, growth, and strategy.
- Designing 8 accelerator programs for our clients, include an award-winning global climate accelerator.
- Hosting 100+ events in the Chicago ecosystem and other core markets.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Workbox Community?
Workbox isn’t just workspace – it’s people. Every single member of the Workbox team is so dedicated to the success of its members, regardless of what role that team member plays.
From the moment you walk in, and you’re greeted by a member of the community team, you feel a sense of belonging. And it’s felt again each time we cross paths with someone who works here. The operations team always wants to know about our experience, marketing is always looking for ways to amplify Workbox members, etc.
We also love the diversity of the businesses at each location. From tech startups to consulting firms, VCs to branding agencies, there’s no shortage of fascinating humans doing important and compelling work. Members are genuinely interested in sharing insights and getting to know one another in a way that I haven’t experienced at other spaces.
What’s next for your company? Is there anything you’re currently working on that you’d like to share?
We’re quietly working on our next adventure, investing in the groundbreaking technologies, brands, and marketplaces shaping our future. And we’re excited to meet the founders and investors who share our enthusiasm and optimism for that future.
Is there anything else you’d like people to know about your company?
As we launch our next venture, we’re working with a smaller roster of clients. But we’re always excited to meet our right next collaborators! And we’re also excited to meet investors who want to explore what those next era defining companies will be. We love meeting our neighbors.
