Member Spotlight: Agile Rainmakers

We caught up with the CEO and Co-Founder of Agile Rainmakers, a Workbox Gold Coast Member, to learn more about their company’s mission, how they’re utilizing their private workspace at Workbox, and their plans for 2024.

Tell us a little about your company!

Agile Rainmakers is a high-impact business development consulting and advisory firm that advises high-growth companies on managing their growth sustainably. The Agile Rainmakers team has expertise in strategy, management, finance, operations, marketing, and sales. We leverage interns from top-tier universities for specific project work when appropriate.

What is your company’s mission, and what problem are you working to solve?

Agile Rainmakers is about people experiencing dignity, freedom, and abundance. Our mission is to empower people by enlivening each other and society. The problem we are solving is sustainably growing a firm while being true to one’s self and one’s values.

What do you love most about what you do?

We love advising our clients in a nurturing way that leads to success: growing from 3 to 30 people in 4 years, leveraging our ecosystem to upgrade their network, and creating new product offerings. We also love training and developing interns who do really impressive project-client work.

Do you have any recent company news, awards or milestones you are proud of?

• Celebrated our 5 year anniversary in December!
• Launched “Intern vs. Manager” Instagram account, which grew to 70k followers in just one month: https://www.instagram.com/internvsmanager/
• Hired Hector Betanzos (recent Princeton alumnus) as a Social Media Consultant and added Steve Colten (Duke MBA) as a Business Partner.

What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Workbox Community?

The community is supportive and engaging. The staff are highly responsive and extremely helpful. I feel like I can win at Workbox.

At Workbox, our mission has always been about Member Success. What does success mean to you?

Success means having our advisory clients grow exponentially while also remaining true to themselves. Success also means bringing dignity to the internship discourse through our two books, How to Intern Successfully and Intern Management, and through our internship program.

What’s next for your company? Is there anything you’re currently working on that you’d like to share?

We will be adding five new clients this year to our advisory business. We will be launching an Executive Coaching business in the coming weeks. Later this year, we will publish our third book on internships, Intern Mentorship.
