We caught up with the team at Parallel Path, members at Workbox – Short North, to learn more about their work in the health and wellness industry, the milestones they’re celebrating, and what’s next for the agency.

Tell us a little about your company and/or product.

Parallel Path is the creative media agency for health and wellness brands. We opened in Boulder in 2006 and have a satellite team in Columbus, Ohio, that works out of Workbox-Short North.

We combine media, data, and analytics, SEO, strategy, and insights, and creative, so health and wellness brands can get everything they need in one place. We’re independent by design: no corporate owners, no conflicting interests, no layers between the work and the people who care about it.

What is your company’s mission, and what problem are you working to solve?

Our mission is creating a world where wellness wins.

Health and wellness isn’t like other categories. People are handing a brand their trust with their health, their family, their care, and marketing that treats that like any other purchase falls flat. We help aspirational health and wellness brands reach their boldest ambitions, combining category expertise, creative storytelling, performance media, and advanced analytics to turn marketing investment into real business outcomes. Health and wellness deserve better marketing. That’s the work.

What do you love most about what you do?

Our work helps people live healthier lives. And we get to collaborate with incredible client partners across every kind of project you can imagine, from shooting documentary-style video with a health plan to creating a brand’s first CTV commercial to going on site visits and seeing how the businesses we support show up in the communities they grow in.

Do you have any recent company news, awards, or milestones you are proud of?Parallel Path

It’s been a great year. We hit twenty years in 2026, and published our second health and wellness industry perspective, following the consumer research we released in 2023. Our work and our clients’ work have been recognized by eHealthcare, the Webby Awards, the New York Brand Film Festival, and BANFF, and we’ve been named one of Outside’s Best Places to Work.

We continue to experiment with SideCountry AI, our studio for the generative AI tools we both build and use, all aimed at helping our client partners become the best version of who they already are. Our team also grew by about 33%, making this the largest our formerly small agency has ever been.

Outside the office, our associates kept living the category: marathons, 100-mile bike races, and many personal firsts.

What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Workbox Community?

Our team loves the Short North location – easy to grab a coffee, have lunch with a client, or just get outside for a loop around Goodale Park.

One of the big perks of the Workbox model is sharing a community beyond our own organization. We know our associates are never coming into an empty office. There are people to network with, seasonal events, and a motivating buzz that you miss out on with fully remote work.

At Workbox, our mission has always been about Member Success. What does success mean to you?

Watching our clients and our associates grow together. Being the agency people point to as one of the real ones, the kind that means what it says. And putting out work that represents our people and our mission every time.

What’s next for your company? Is there anything you’re currently working on that you’d like to share?

We want to be the most sought-after agency in health and wellness. That means growing our client partners into the brands we already know they’re capable of becoming, and taking an active role in how this industry shows up for consumers.

Mostly it means continuing to live our core values, collaboration, curiosity, tenacity, and service, and investing in the clients and partner organizations who make the work worth doing.

Is there anything else you’d like people to know about your company?

We recently published our Brand Reciprocity Framework to show how we believe health and wellness brands earn lasting customer preference. It’s the same reciprocity you already know: the relationships you keep work because both sides get something real. Identity, connection, and experience have to hold together before someone chooses you.

There’s a free self-assessment that scores a brand across all three at parallelpath.com/reciprocity, and the longer story of who we are is at parallelpath.com/our-story.
